Make a badge

Tap the pencil on My hello. Add your name, any optional role or introduction, and a design. Save, then tap Wear this hello. Child details are always optional.

Choose a comfortable style

Little designs has Free, Halloween and Quiet filters. Gentle animation can be turned off in the editor, and iPhone Reduce Motion pauses it automatically. Just My Name and After Hours are free, still, high-contrast designs.

Wear it your way

Handheld shows a large badge. Lanyard uses your phone’s motion sensors to turn the badge when it hangs upside down. Pocket puts a strip at the top; select this mode yourself. The camera is never used. Tap Lock to hide controls, then hold anywhere to unlock. Your normal iPhone lock and notification settings still apply.

Keep several hellos

Tap New hello to make another badge. My badges switches between them. Swipe a badge in that list to delete it; the last badge is kept so you always have one to edit.

Purchases and restore

Little Boos is a one-time Halloween pack. Nametag Studio is a one-time purchase covering every design, including Little Boos, and extra customization. Prices appear in the shop from the App Store. To restore, use Packs & restore purchases in Settings, then Restore purchases with the Apple Account used to buy. If products are unavailable, try again when online. Free badges work offline.

Share an optional link

Enter a complete http:// or https:// link in the editor. In Wear mode, tap QR to show the code. It contains only that link. The Share button creates a still image containing the visible badge details, so review those before choosing a destination.
